St. Mary of Pine Bluff will offer two Masses with ashes for observance of Ash Wednesday on Feb. 26. Mass in the ordinary form will be at 7:30 a.m., and Mass in the extraordinary form (TLM) will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m.

The evening Mass will be live-streamed on Facebook and on the parish web site.

Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence. Catholics from ages 18-59 are to observe fasting: one main meal with two smaller meals if needed for strength. Catholics from ages 14-59 are to abstain from eating meat. (Read more about fasting and abstinence here.)
