Council of Catholic Women Convention Video Available

On Saturday, June 12, the Madison Diocese Council of Catholic Women 2021 Virtual Convention was aired. If you missed it and want to view this beautiful mini-retreat, it is embedded below and also available on YouTube.

The video is 2.5 hours long, and includes presentations by Spiritual Director Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt, Keynote Speaker Bishop Donald J Hying, nationally known spiritual writer and speaker Jeanne Ewing – “Finding Joy in the Chaos;” international songwriter and singer Anna Nuzzo – plus local MDCCW board members, and local parish CCW representatives speaking from their own parish –including here at St. Mary of Pine Bluff. Prayer Breaks, Meditations and the Divine Mercy Chaplet have been built into this powerful presentation, too, followed by a walk down memory lane.

The National Council of Catholic Women has been active since 1920 – now celebrating 101 years of responding to the needs of the church and society through spirituality, leadership and service.  At this time, St. Mary’s does not have a formal, active CCW group; however, this does not mean that we don’t have core groups of women who are dedicated to our church and community.  If you are interested strengthening our team of Catholic women, please leave your name with Mary Lou in the parish office. We’ll host a meeting this fall to explore how we might continue and broaden the scope of our reach.
