New Livestream System Provides Many Viewing Options

St. Mary of Pine Bluff’s new live-stream system provides parishioners and others who watch broadcasts of Mass or other events plenty of viewing choices, from social media to the parish web site to Apple TV, Roku and Fire TV from Amazon.

The first Mass using the new system was broadcast at 7:30 a.m. CST Thursday, Feb. 25. As was the case under the previous system, replays of Mass and sermons will be posted on Rumble and YouTube. Live-stream events can be accessed on the following platforms:

St. Mary of Pine Bluff Web Site — The video player shows a countdown timer with details on the next scheduled broadcast of Mass or other event. Below the player you will find the current parish bulletin, Propers for Sunday Traditional Latin Mass, as well as replays of the most recent broadcasts.

The video player allows you to pause the live broadcast, then pick up where you left off, or return to the live view.

YouTube — The viewing experience on the St. Mary of Pine Bluff YouTube channel is the same as it was previously, with live chat. Masses can also be watched via the YouTube app on smart televisions.

Facebook — We’ve been missing from Facebook for some time due to changes in the way Facebook Live interacts with outside broadcast signals. As with YouTube, the viewing experience is the same as our previous system. Broadcasts are on the “St. Mary’s Parish of Pine Bluff” Facebook group page.

Apple TV, Roku and Fire TV — If you use these platforms to access content on your smart television, go the the apps section and download the Boxcast channel. Search for “St. Mary of Pine Bluff” to access our broadcasts.
